Module 2: The Wise Reader

Two people can open the same Bible, read the same page, and walk away with opposite conclusions. Both can be sincere. Both can love God. So the question is not only what does the Bible say? but how do I read it so that I hear what it says, and not just what I expected? The Bible has a good deal to say about that. It describes how the wise read, listen and test, and it describes the opposite, too. In this module we learn the rules from Scripture itself, and we agree to them before any doctrine is on the table. Later, when you open the Godhead question, you will already know the standard you are holding every view to, including your own.
